{"id":40782,"date":"2018-06-11T11:09:34","date_gmt":"2018-06-11T09:09:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=40782"},"modified":"2018-06-11T11:34:47","modified_gmt":"2018-06-11T09:34:47","slug":"badisa-children-foundation-current-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/badisa-children-foundation-current-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Badisa Children Foundation Current Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0Badisa Children Foundation, is an\u00a0independent entity that has been established as a funding vehicle to raise funds for child protection services rendered by Badisa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Marketer\/<br \/>\nFundraiser<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town.<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Negotiable remuneration package including a medical aid and pension fund, as well as generous leave benefits<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and organise special events and campaigns to create awareness and generate funding in the communities where the various programmes are established and operational<\/li>\n<li>Implement innovative fundraising initiatives according to budget requirements<\/li>\n<li>Source funding from the social responsibility programmes of corporates, charitable and endowment trusts and private individuals favourably disposed to supporting child protection services<\/li>\n<li>Develop a supportive administrative system and maintain a database of donor information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Appropriate qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five years\u2019 experience in fundraising and marketing<\/li>\n<li>Project management experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of donor management databases<\/li>\n<li>Computer and electronic media skills<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s licence and own transport<\/li>\n<li>An appreciation for the culture and knowledge of marketing and fundraising in the nonprofit sector<\/li>\n<li>A track record of successful fundraising and digital marketing experience<\/li>\n<li>Imaginative and an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence others using verbal and written Afrikaans and English communication<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work flextime according to the fundraising schedule<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit a\u00a0comprehensive CV, in electronic format, to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:mhb@badisa.org.za\">mhb@badisa.org.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a015 June, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0Badisa Children Foundation, is an\u00a0independent entity that has been established as a funding vehicle to raise funds for child protection services rendered by Badisa.
