{"id":40785,"date":"2018-06-11T11:20:05","date_gmt":"2018-06-11T09:20:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=40785"},"modified":"2018-06-11T11:33:41","modified_gmt":"2018-06-11T09:33:41","slug":"cape-mental-health-new-vacancy-send-cvs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/cape-mental-health-new-vacancy-send-cvs.html","title":{"rendered":"Cape Mental Health New Vacancy &#8211; Send In Your CVs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cape Mental Health, a nonprofit organisation that offers a comprehensive mental health service in the Western Cape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Special Education and Care Programme Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> The Deputy Director responsible for SECCs<\/p>\n<p>This is a one year contract<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to manage the organisations\u2019 three Special Education and Care Centres (SECCs) for children and adults with severe and profound intellectual disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Overall management of the SECC Programme for children\/adults with severe and profound intellectual disabilities at three day centres in Khayelitsha, Mitchells Plain and Heideveld<\/li>\n<li>Financial management including (but not limited to) preparing budgets and monitoring income and expenditure<\/li>\n<li>Human Resource Management including (but not limited to) training, capacity building, recruitment\/appointment and discipline<\/li>\n<li>Asset and vehicle management<\/li>\n<li>Ensure contractual deliverables are met and liaison with and reporting to Provincial Government Departments and others as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Occupational Therapy \/ Social Sciences \/ Management<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the HPCSA or relevant professional body as required<\/li>\n<li>Minimum three years\u2019 management and HR management experience<\/li>\n<li>Valid Code 8 manual driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in English and one other Western Cape official language<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with persons with severe and profound intellectual disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing a facility or centre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit a motivational letter and an updated two page CV with contactable referees to\u00a0<strong>santie@cmh.org.za<\/strong>\u00a0or deliver to Santie Terreblanche, Cape Mental Health, 22 Ivy Street Observatory Cape Town 7925<\/p>\n<p>Only short listed candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>15 June, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cape Mental Health, a nonprofit organisation that offers a comprehensive mental health service in the Western Cape.
