We will, in the course of our work, explore options to significantly help to reduce poverty and inequality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Regional Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Position:\u00a0<\/strong>Western Cape<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong>\u00a0Immediately<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0R 3\u00a0483\u00a0plus benefits\u00a0Pension, Medical Allowance and 13th Cheque \/ Bonus<\/p>\n<p>This is a part-time, half day position<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Reception<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Switchboard duties, answer and transfer phone calls<\/li>\n<li>Keep reception area and own office space neat and tidy<\/li>\n<li>Receives Black Sash visitors, print and distributes helpline and general flyers and information<\/li>\n<li>Refer to helpline or other organisations where appropriate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Office Administration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office filing and correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Records and circulates incoming faxes \/ mail to appropriate staff<\/li>\n<li>Collects \/ sends post, arranges courier on Regional Manager or designated staff request<\/li>\n<li>Order office stationery and purchase cleaning materials and office consumables<\/li>\n<li>Keeps track of stock for replenishment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>HR Administration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep and file copies of leave application forms, time-sheets and supporting documentation<\/li>\n<li>Compiles and sends monthly leave schedule to HR Officer in the first week of each new month<\/li>\n<li>Supervises cleaner, when applicable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regional Programmes and Project logistical support<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As per Regional Manager instruction, assists regional staff and \/ or national project administrator and liaise with community partners to organise meetings, information events, dialogues or capacity training workshops<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Administration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Together with Regional Manager, submits cash transfer requests to national office<\/li>\n<li>Check and prepare invoices for services rendered or products delivered for signing off by Regional Manager<\/li>\n<li>Faxes or scans and emails all signed invoices to national office for payment with payment requisition forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Office Equipment and Maintenance<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintains office equipment especially computers, copier\/fax\/scanner and telephone system<\/li>\n<li>Report deficiencies or malfunctioning equipment for resolution<\/li>\n<li>Keep and maintain an asset register<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Data Capture<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Capture of information on Black Sash database Sashbase<\/li>\n<li>Provide partner support and the capture of partner surveys onto Tablets for collation at national office<\/li>\n<li>Support point for partners related to project activities and tablets in regard to capturing<\/li>\n<li>Upload and monitor of data usage<\/li>\n<li>Audit and update Regional Sash-base contacts, events etc to ensure quality of capturing and that information is updated as needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matriculation exemption plus relevant office and administrative experience<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three to five years\u2019 experience in providing administrative support in a small- to medium- sized business environment<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Office, web browsers and typing speed of 40 wpm<\/li>\n<li>Time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task and have good Administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Communication, interpersonal and listening skills<\/li>\n<li>Command of spoken and written English is required, and at least one other South African language<\/li>\n<li>Committed to human rights, access to justice, development and empowerment with integrity, honesty and has respect for confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a team and with a transparent, accountable and consultative style and embrace the values, vision, strategies and policies of the Black Sash<\/li>\n<li>Ability to think pro-actively, creatively and responsively and
