WWF-SA works to inspire and empower all South Africans, from school children and local community leaders to consumers and chief executive officers (CEOs), to value, respect and defend the integrity of the natural ecosystems that underpin the sustainable development of this country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Position:\u00a0Face to Face\u00a0Fundraiser<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Gauteng<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong>\u00a0Team Leader and Sales Manager<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong>\u00a0July 2018<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to engage with the public in diverse public venues across the city to encourage them to support WWF by providing long-term support.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To directly attract and communicate with potential donors (at shopping centres and events) to solicit their support by becoming a regular financial donor to the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Build rapport with potential donors from the general public, providing an excellent engagement experience<\/li>\n<li>Continually improve knowledge and understanding of the WWF work and, in particular, the campaign product, confidently ensuring potential donors are informed, not mislead, at any point during the sales process<\/li>\n<li>Meet daily, weekly and monthly targets as prescribed by the WWF Field Sales Representative Performance Management Indicators<\/li>\n<li>Meet both quality and quantity standards for sign-up of new regular donors<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the effective and accurate administration and processing of sign-ups<\/li>\n<li>Maintain commitment, motivation and enthusiasm<\/li>\n<li>Use scripts and guidelines as provided<\/li>\n<li>Behave in a professional manner, reflecting WWF\u2019s values, ethos and policies at all times<\/li>\n<li>Accurately and appropriately record, protect and report fundraising data<\/li>\n<li>Create public awareness to support WWF-SA\u2019s conservation efforts<\/li>\n<li>Assist, as required, with initial training and induction of new team members<\/li>\n<li>Attend regular training, team meetings and discussions for improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completed Tertiary education is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of one year sales experience is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising experience, including face-to-face fundraising experience is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to inspire people through outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and one other official South African language<\/li>\n<li>Unshakable drive and motivation to succeed and build your campaign<\/li>\n<li>Effective at time management<\/li>\n<li>Have a strong work ethic, be target motivated and work well under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Passion for nature and conservation an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit \u00a0your CV to\u00a0<strong>bsinclair@wwf.org.za<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>13 July, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WWF South Africa (WWF-SA) is a national office that is part of the WWF network.
