{"id":40927,"date":"2018-06-18T11:12:18","date_gmt":"2018-06-18T09:12:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=40927"},"modified":"2018-06-18T11:12:18","modified_gmt":"2018-06-18T09:12:18","slug":"columba-leadership-available-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/columba-leadership-available-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Columba Leadership available Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Columba Leadership\u2019s is an NGO that activates youth enterprise and employment by helping young people transcend their personal circumstances and offers meaningful social impact to all investors.<br \/>\nColumba\u00a0Leadership seeks to appoint a\u00a0 for the school based engagements of the programme, to be based in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0School Engagement Officers<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong><br \/>\n-Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape<br \/>\n-Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct Area Research<\/li>\n<li>Conduct principal information sessions to engage principals<\/li>\n<li>Enable Youth Engagement in Partner Schools:\u00a0 Facilitate Principal engagement together with the Provincial Manager<\/li>\n<li>Conduct educator sessions to engage educators<\/li>\n<li>Conduct learner sessions to engage learners<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with Principals, Educators and Learners on an ongoing basis<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder engagement with the Department of Education, Investors, Government Representatives at a high level<\/li>\n<li>Implement Monitoring and Evaluation plan with support from Monitoring and Evaluation Team<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit reports to Provincial Manager<\/li>\n<li>Transcribe recorded interviews<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to provincial reports for investors, identifying and sharing positive stories<\/li>\n<li>Provide corporate engagement support during school visits<\/li>\n<li>Activate and mobilise School Clusters, facilitation of cluster sessions<\/li>\n<li>Involvement in Youth Connexion events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be in possession of a Bachelor of Psychology or a Bachelor of Education Degree or a Social Sciences Degree<\/li>\n<li>Coaching\/Mentoring Qualification will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three to five years\u2019 experience working in schools at a Principal and Educator level<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and competence in MS Projects advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills essential<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in written and verbal English<\/li>\n<li>The Port Elizabeth candidate must be proficient in written and verbal Afrikaans<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and be a team player<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Adaptability and ability to work in a fluid environment<\/li>\n<li>Assertiveness<\/li>\n<li>Planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Administratively strong<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as a thinking and support partner to the school stakeholders (principals, educators and learners) and will play a key role in monitoring of progress, evaluating results and reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit CV to\u00a0<strong>careers@columba.org.za<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regret only suitable candidates will be contacted.<\/p>\n<p>Should you not be contacted within two weeks of the closing date, please consider the position filled.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>29th June, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Columba Leadership\u2019s is an NGO that activates youth enterprise and employment by helping young people transcend their personal circumstances and offers meaningful social impact to all investors.
