The SAN works with communities to hold government and service providers to account and encourages community empowerment through skills transfer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> Immediately<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Commensurate with experience and qualifications<\/p>\n<p>This is a full time six months non-renewable contract position<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to assist with the management of specific projects related to the growth of SAN.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Planning and implementation<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, implement and document projects that will help realise SANs strategic objectives, including learning events and trainings<\/li>\n<li>Design mechanisms for knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices and lessons learnt<\/li>\n<li>Help identify and establish new relationships with potential SAN stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Content development<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop training materials and guides<\/li>\n<li>Develop social media content<\/li>\n<li>Help write proposals and reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary degree in related field, post-graduate degree advantageous<\/li>\n<li>A commitment to social justice<\/li>\n<li>High level of operations and systems management experience<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three to five years of relevant experience<\/li>\n<li>Ability to network, develop, and manage relationships across organisations and government stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and as part of a team<\/li>\n<li>Management and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Initiative and ability\u00a0to drive processes<\/li>\n<li>Experience working in community organisations and\/or\u00a0social movements advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Command of English<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak an African language is advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>Communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Adaptable and flexible during pressurised times<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with computers and online research<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Writing, research, communications, and analytical capacity<\/li>\n<li>Ability to conduct their own administrative duties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit a cover letter and CV to\u00a0<strong>thando@socialaudits.org.za\u00a0<\/strong>clearly stating Project Manager in the subject line.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>6th July, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Social Audit Network (SAN), hosted within the Social Justice Coalition (SJC), is a network of civil society organisations that work together to expand the implementation of social audits, as&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1350,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[940],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
