After many conversations and asking the right questions, it soon became clear that a lack of pre-school education was causing our high school students to be unprepared and well behind the learning curve. So instead of covering up the problem,\u00a0we chose to solve it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Social Monitoring, Evaluation and Research Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Train staff on the use of Monitoring and Evaluation tools<\/li>\n<li>Analyse and consolidate evaluations of Programmes\u2019 and their contribution to the achievement of overall results, the findings of the evaluation shall inform the development of new strategies<\/li>\n<li>Work within a comprehensive reporting framework with provisions for rigorous impact assessment<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations for enhancements and improvements<\/li>\n<li>Analyse bi-annual and annual reports and produce a synthetic and analytical progress report to guide management decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Maintain systems and mechanisms for collecting data to monitor the development of defined indicators under the comprehensive reporting framework<\/li>\n<li>Undertake an assessment to review the programme and collate a Learning Brief<\/li>\n<li>Ensure processes are in place to effectively manage the lifecycle of the project<\/li>\n<li>Streamline all systems, processes, tools, data analysis and\u00a0ensure that staff are able to apply these<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate the impact of the work TUC does and ensure the constant innovation and application of the programmes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that clear operational plans are in place, and understood across the work streams\/programme areas<\/li>\n<li>Timely monitor progress against Operation Plans and corrective action taken as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Generate quarterly learning briefs that inform improved programming and practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Degree<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of five years\u2019 experience in the NGO sector, preferably ECD<\/li>\n<li>Experience with data analytics and programme reporting and working with electronic management systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit a CV to\u00a0<strong>Roseisha.Ishwarduttt@theunlimitedchild.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a029th June, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Unlimited Child\u00a0started with a simple conversation and one man\u2019s dream to shift South Africa.
