CW receives reports of corruption from the public, investigates certain reports, exposes corruption through communications\u2019 platforms and mobilises the public to take a stand against corruption and the abuse of public funds.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Digital Media Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Braamfontein in Johannesburg<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Commensurate with experience<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> Communications and Marketing Manager<\/p>\n<p>This is a full-time position<br \/>\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Technological development and maintenance<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical support to community members and staff<\/li>\n<li>Implement new community features as and if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Moderation of social media platforms<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Moderate discussions, postings and activity on online platforms in accordance with Corruption Watch\u2019s user-generated content moderation policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Monitoring progress<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor and measure the success of community engagement<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly reports on quantitative and qualitative data<\/li>\n<li>Identify and report on community trends<\/li>\n<li>Analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of the site and new initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Document all learning experiences and provide a monthly report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Content development and activities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Produce written content that can be used to initiate discussion on the platforms<\/li>\n<li>Generate infographics and other multi-media to be used on the site<\/li>\n<li>Organise and manage online events and activities that take place on the community platform<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Website and social media content development<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to the weekly \/ daily planning of content<\/li>\n<li>Support the production of website and social media content<\/li>\n<li>Generate infographics and other multi-media as appropriate for social media channels<\/li>\n<li>Keep on top of digital marketing, SEO and content marketing trends<\/li>\n<li>Identify useful publications or resources that will enhance CW web and social media content<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly reports on Facebook and Twitter<\/li>\n<li>Manage online advertising on Facebook and Google<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Digital marketing<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO\/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)<\/li>\n<li>Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies and social media presence<\/li>\n<li>Identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights<\/li>\n<li>Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites<\/li>\n<li>Review new technologies and keep the organisation at the forefront of developments in digital marketing<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Google Webmaster Tools \/ Search Console<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma\/ degree in digital media marketing studies<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of one to two years\u2019 experience (Digital media and marketing)<\/li>\n<li>Digital design skills and aptitude<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit your CV (not more than three pages), letter of motivational and three contactable references\u00a0to<strong>\u00a0admin@corruptionwatch.org.za<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No\u00a0late\u00a0applications\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not hear from us within 30 days of the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>2nd July, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corruption Watch (CW) is a nonprofit, civil society organisation.
