{"id":41229,"date":"2018-06-29T10:54:55","date_gmt":"2018-06-29T08:54:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=41229"},"modified":"2018-06-29T10:54:55","modified_gmt":"2018-06-29T08:54:55","slug":"sappi-new-job-positions-3-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/sappi-new-job-positions-3-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"SAPPI New Job Positions [3 Positions]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This internship will provide the incumbent with the necessary skills and training and to develop the specific competencies required in executing research-related activities at our Shaw Research Centre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Forestry Research Internship At SAPPI<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Positions:\u00a0<\/strong>Forestry Research Intern x 83<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with tissue culture laboratory activities such as media preparation and sub-culturing.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with Research trial activities such planting and measurement.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with data capture and analysis of trial data<\/li>\n<li>Safety awareness and implementation of policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KEY COMPETENCIES \/ SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research knowledge (would be a recommendation)<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organizing<\/li>\n<li>Safety and Quality awareness<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS \/ EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 \/ Matric qualification<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Forestry, Horticulture or Botany Diploma\/Degree or related qualification<\/li>\n<li>No experience required<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license would be beneficial<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REPORTING TO:<\/strong> Principal Research Officer &#8211; Research, Planning &amp; Nursery<\/p>\n<p><strong>Opportunity Closing Date:<\/strong> Friday, June 29, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This internship will provide the incumbent with the necessary skills and training and to develop the specific competencies required in executing research-related activities at our Shaw Research Centre.
