{"id":41306,"date":"2018-07-04T09:00:17","date_gmt":"2018-07-04T07:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=41306"},"modified":"2018-07-03T11:52:54","modified_gmt":"2018-07-03T09:52:54","slug":"mould-empower-serve-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/mould-empower-serve-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Mould Empower Serve Ongoing Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MES Cape Town renders services to the homeless and vulnerable communities according to the MES holistic service model, which consists of intake, intervention and sustainable exit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Finance Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> R7 300 per month, cost to company<\/p>\n<p>This is a part-time position<\/p>\n<p>Financial<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement of MES Financial policy ensuring responsible financial and asset management stewardship<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that filing of all financial records such as bank statements, cheque requests, creditors etc. is kept according to the MES policy<\/li>\n<li>Issue payments and obtaining the necessary approvals according to the MES policy<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the revenue cycle is done according to the MES financial policy including the issuing of invoices, receipts and banking<\/li>\n<li>Full control of the branch\u2019s component of the accounting system (QuickBooks) insuring that data capturing, bank reconciliations, issuing of receipts and invoices is timeously completed<\/li>\n<li>Debtor management and invoicing analysis<\/li>\n<li>Timeous working out of management accounts<\/li>\n<li>Constructive communication with financial service providers via, the bank, Quick books, auditors etc<\/li>\n<li>Monthly financial report to Programme Managers, Exco and Directors<\/li>\n<li>Draw up an annual budget and ensure programmes are kept to budget control measures<\/li>\n<li>Develop and improve the MES financial management processes and policies in conjunction with the rest of the MES (NPC) Finance Department<\/li>\n<li>Authorise and make salary payments with the Branch Manager<\/li>\n<li>Authorise and make payments to suppliers with the Branch Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reporting and Proposals<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare and present monthly branch financial reports<\/li>\n<li>Assist with funding proposals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Logistics<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that vehicle logbooks are completed correctly<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that vehicle licenses are received timeously<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that vehicles are kept in good condition<\/li>\n<li>Ensure storeroom control<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting degree, or three-year diploma, or at least seven years\u2019 experience as bookkeeper<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license preferred<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Pastel beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Experience in budget preparation and management report preparation preferred<\/li>\n<li>Administrative and organising skills required<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a management position will be beneficial<\/li>\n<li>Passionate about developing and serving poor people<\/li>\n<li>Personal integrity, confidentiality and dependability<\/li>\n<li>Be energised by developing people potential and staff wellbeing<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and in a team<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit a CV to Annelise La Grange\u00a0<strong>annelise@mes.org.za<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 6th July, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MES Cape Town renders services to the homeless and vulnerable communities according to the MES holistic service model, which consists of intake, intervention and sustainable exit.
