health systems by supporting the implementation of functional health districts in South Africa and in the southern African region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Computer Instructor for the FRESH Project<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Umlazi, KwaZulu-Natal<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Package commensurate with the successful candidate\u2019s experience and qualifications will be offered.<\/p>\n<p>This is a fixed-term contract position, renewable based on funding.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to guide and assist young girls in developing computer skills, find meaningful employment, start their own business or return to school.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create lesson plans that are appropriate for the age and abilities of the students in the class<\/li>\n<li>Develop and update the curriculum for the classroom<\/li>\n<li>Train students in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office 2010 in accordance with predefined course outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate student performances in class through administering tests and providing feedback<\/li>\n<li>Identify various teaching methods that work best for students who learn differently<\/li>\n<li>Submit weekly training reports<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the equipment in the computer room is set up and in working condition prior to a training session<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support for the office network, computers and printers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certified Computer Trainer with a minimum of two years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of NQF 4 (National Qualifications Framework 4)<\/li>\n<li>An understanding of computer monitors, central processing units, operating systems, networks, hard drives and file storage is essential<\/li>\n<li>Ability to teach in both English and isiZulu<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in the Microsoft Office application suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of a wide range of computer technologies<\/li>\n<li>Trouble-shooting skills<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of computer monitors, central processing units, operating systems, networks, hard-drives and file storage<\/li>\n<li>Detail-oriented and mechanically inclined<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Critical thinking and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational and time management skills<\/li>\n<li>Social networking skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong public-speaking skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel to and work in Umlazi Township<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit
