{"id":41465,"date":"2018-07-09T12:31:44","date_gmt":"2018-07-09T10:31:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=41465"},"modified":"2018-07-09T14:23:08","modified_gmt":"2018-07-09T12:23:08","slug":"pioneer-foods-apprenticeship-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/pioneer-foods-apprenticeship-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Pioneer Foods Apprenticeship Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pioneer Foods, in partnership with Optimum Learning Technologies, are recruiting apprentices within the following trades with the aim of developing and employing them at different sites: Fitter and Turners, Electricians and Millwrights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Pioneer Foods Apprenticeship Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be expected to complete an apprenticeship programme at the Engineering centre, based in Johannesburg, and will therefore be expected to be away from home for extended periods of time.<\/p>\n<p>Learners will go through a screening process and will be placed within a specific trade based on their results.<\/p>\n<p>The programme includes full time classes and on-the-job training within a fast-paced factory environment.<\/p>\n<p>The apprenticeship programme will run over a period of 4 to 5 years and successful apprentices will thereafter be considered for employment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SA Citizenship<\/li>\n<li>N3 with mathematics, science, engineering drawings and trade theory OR<\/li>\n<li>Matric with maths and science required<\/li>\n<li>Engineering graphic design recommended<\/li>\n<li>Able to travel and\/or relocate<\/li>\n<li>Able to work shifts and public holidays, if and when required<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical aptitude<\/li>\n<li>Strong work ethic; positive attitude and committed<\/li>\n<li>Eager to learn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Application forms for this opportunity are available at the security office of the factory or on request via email at <strong>apprenticeship@optimumlearn.com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Factory address: Sasko Aeroton &#8211; 76 Sailor Malan Street Gauteng 2031<\/p>\n<p>Please complete and hand in your completed application form, along with the following documents at the security office:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A copy of your CV<\/li>\n<li>A certified copy of your qualifications<\/li>\n<li>A certified copy of your ID<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The closing date for applications is<strong> 15h00 on the 12 July 2018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Learners will go through a screening process and will be placed within a specific trade based on their results.<\/p>\n<p>The programme includes full-time classes and on-the-job training within a fast-paced factory environment.<\/p>\n<p>*Only those who meet the minimum requirements and have supplied all the required documentation will be considered.
