ISS seeks to appoint a, to be based in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0Senior Research Consultant<\/strong>

\nReport to:<\/strong> ISS Dakar Office Director<\/p>\n

Duration: The contract will be for an initial period of 6 months and may be renewed subject to ISS\u2019 requirements, funding and satisfactory performance.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the position is to undertake primary and secondary research and analysis, develop policy recommendations based on the findings, and actively communicate results to ISS stakeholders through written products, verbal communication and media commentary. Manage the entire process of complex projects, including tracking budgets and expenditure, and monitoring and evaluation of impact. Help build the ISS\u2019 profile by initiating and maintaining relationships with ISS stakeholders and donors in Nigeria (such as the ECOWAS Commission, diplomatic community, Nigerian government), ensuring engagement with research results, and shaping African and global decision making on human security.<\/p>\n
