Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of\u00a0 3 years experience working at a CYCC with proven track record<\/li>\n<li>Social worker degree with a minimum of 3 years experience with proven track record<\/li>\n<li>Registered with SACSSP, cleared on Section 29 and SAPS clearance<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and interpersonal\u00a0 qualities with a friendly disposition<\/li>\n<li>Excellent work ethic without clock watching<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing qualities<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English \u2013 speaking and writing<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Full understanding of the Children\u2019s Act and NPO Act<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with compliance issues with the Department of Social Development (DSD), CPO\u2019s and Children\u2019s Court<\/li>\n<li>Strong operational and administrative qualities and a basic knowledge of bookkeeping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Daily running of the CYCC and staff management<\/li>\n<li>Quality control within the CYCC, repairs and maintenance, transport and office management<\/li>\n<li>Meet reporting deadlines with no compromise to DSD, the board<\/li>\n<li>Policy writing<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with sponsors and donors at the CYCC<\/li>\n<li>Oversee volunteers and community projects<\/li>\n<li>Chairing staff meetings and attending board meeting when necessary<\/li>\n<li>Handling social work of approx. 16 children together with CPO\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Supervising all aspects of the children\u2019s care including panels, meeting with schools, psychologist and medical practitioners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, if you are suitably qualified as detailed above, submit a maximum of 3 page CV together with a copy of your ID to<strong>\u00a0info@yenzani.org<\/strong>.
