Conservation South Africa believes \u201cPeople need nature to thrive \u201c, and so its work seeks to promote and support conservation, restoration, and sustainable land use in South Africa\u2019s Hotspots as an essential element of food security and land reform, human and economic development, and building resilience to the impacts of climate change.\u00a0CSA helps local communities protect these natural habitats that support their livelihoods by helping them to acquire skills and implement initiatives help protect nature and counteract the effects of climate change and other activities that negatively affect livelihoods and put species at risk of extinction.<\/p>\n

Salary: Package will be commensurate with experience<\/p>\n

This position will be on a 12 months\u2019 contract and be based at the CSA office in Springbok.<\/p>\n

The purpose of the Green Learning Coordinator is to coordinate and support the implementation of its Green Learning strategy to develop the local capacity required to achieve Conservation South Africa\u2019s Rangeland Restoration Economy goals specific to conservation outcomes as outlined in CSA\u2019s 2020 strategy.<\/p>\n
