{"id":41707,"date":"2018-07-18T09:30:08","date_gmt":"2018-07-18T07:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=41707"},"modified":"2018-07-17T13:16:58","modified_gmt":"2018-07-17T11:16:58","slug":"jet-education-services-new-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/jet-education-services-new-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"JET Education Services New Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JET Education Services (JET) is an independent, nonprofit organisation that works with government, the private sector, international\u00a0develop-<br \/>\nment agencies and\u00a0education institutions to improve the quality of education and\u00a0the relationship between education, skills\u00a0development and\u00a0the world\u00a0of work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Intern<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p>This is a fixed-term contract that will run for one year and be subject to renewal<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Intern is\u00a0to support the Monitoring and Evaluation Division in delivering high quality monitoring and evaluation work which supports an evidence-based approached to education policy and planning and which sets high quality standards for the education sector.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Monitoring and Evaluation Executive and Specialist Mangers and Monitoring and Evaluation project officer in preparing for project inception attend inception meetings and develop work plans<\/li>\n<li>Assists with project planning and preparation to facilitate a smooth implementation of project activities<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an understanding of projects and plans in line with budgets<\/li>\n<li>Keep project managers updated on a regular basis as required<\/li>\n<li>Assist with presenting research findings<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of proposals for new projects<\/li>\n<li>Collect primary data for projects as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Qualification (Social Science or similar) or a post-graduate qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge\/understanding of research and Monitoring and Evaluation principles, practices and how they relate to education<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Time management skills<\/li>\n<li>An interest in and passion for research, Monitoring and Evaluation and education issues<\/li>\n<li>Reading, writing and communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Confidentiality, intern will work with sensitive information which must be treated as confidential<\/li>\n<li>Be in possession of a driver&#8217;s licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit application to\u00a0<strong>Mneintern@jet.org.za<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Late applications will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 1st August 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JET Education Services (JET) is an independent, nonprofit organisation that works with government, the private sector, international\u00a0develop- ment agencies and\u00a0education institutions to improve the quality of education and\u00a0the relationship between&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1350,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[326],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
