The Finance and Operations Director will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Provide overall finance leadership to ActionAid International (AAI), by coordinating the development of federation wide financial policies, standards and guidelines, supporting implementation and compliance mechanisms for monitoring, managing the accountability requirements for regulatory compliance.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Have oversight and leadership to internal audit; ensuring that internal financial controls; a financial reporting system, implementing processes and procedures are established and adhered to creating appropriate financial governance.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Lead in the significant improvement on key systems and provide oversight and ensure proper usage of Federation core processes.<\/li>\n<li class=\"rtejustify\">Manage General Secretariat (GS) finances enabling the GS to operate effectively and efficiently<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>To be considered for this role:<\/strong>You must have a relevant accountancy qualification (Degree, CA, ACCA, ACA, CPA and CIMA) as well as extensive international management and leadership experience in a Finance and Operations Director role. \u00a0You will have done significant work with donor funds and have in-depth knowledge of board governance, audit, treasury and risk management. Being a strategic thinker, you will possess strong relationship building and negotiating skills, be an expert at using finance systems and leading people.
