condition of children, families, and communities in areas of crisis through laughter and play.\u00a0 We also seek to raise our society\u2019s awareness of conditions in these areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Technical Programme Officer for the Parenting Lifelong Health (PLH) parenting programmes<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> R30 000 per month plus benefits<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> 01 September (or earlier)<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> One-year full-time contract renewable subject to performance and funding<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> PLH Senior Technical Advisor<\/p>\n<p>The PLH Technical Programme Officer will work with a dynamic team of specialists, advisors, developers, trainers, and coaches, to support the ongoing dissemination and scale-up of the PLH programmes in sub Saharan Africa and internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure quality delivery of the programme through the provision of programmatic guidance and leadership to implementing partners<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and monitor PLH deliverables in collaboration with the PLH technical programmes team<\/li>\n<li>Manage PLH staff assigned to projects under their project portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Periodic monitoring of PLH programme delivery progress and quality of scale up, including field visits to supervise, coordinate and monitor field level activities under their portfolio<\/li>\n<li>Build capacity and support partners in planning, implementing and sustaining the programme, including the creation of relevant tools to support implementation<\/li>\n<li>Timely preparation, production and submission of progress reports<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and monitor programme adaptation under their portfolio in new contexts in order to assure programme fidelity<\/li>\n<li>Represent PLH in meetings and act as spokesperson in various platforms including with other NGOs, government officials, institutions,\u00a0corporates, major donors, etc<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties related to PLH for Children and Teens and other CWBSA programmes as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of Honour\u2019s degree in relevant area (or similar experience)<\/li>\n<li>Managing and implementing psychosocial interventions in low-resource settings<\/li>\n<li>Human resource and financial management experience<\/li>\n<li>Support monitoring and evaluation of programme delivery and impact<\/li>\n<li>Work with large multi-national NGOs, national governments, and community-based organisations<\/li>\n<li>Work in international arenas and across multi-cultural domains, especially subSaharan Africa<\/li>\n<li>Thorough understanding of, and strong commitment to evidence-based social intervention<\/li>\n<li>Organisational, research, and administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong writing skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe platforms<\/li>\n<li>Communication and negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle the pressures and stresses related to job responsibilities and find creative solutions to implementation challenges<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with diverse populations and partner organisations<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative approach to project implementation<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license and own transport<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit
