They offer students a pathway to become contributing members of society and change the lives of generations to come.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Enrolled Nurse<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure good nursing care for learners in accordance with the scope of practice and nursing standards as determined by the needs of Christel House South Africa<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills with learners, supervisor, educators other practitioners and parents<\/li>\n<li>Work effectively, co-operatively amicably with persons of diverse intellectual, cultural, racial or religious differences in keeping with the values of the school<\/li>\n<li>Display a concern for learners, promoting and advocating basic care including awareness and willingness to respond to learners\u2019 needs, requirements and expectations according to Christel House values<\/li>\n<li>Provide nursing care that leads to improved service delivery<\/li>\n<li>Provide a safe and therapeutic environment that allows for the practice of safe nursing care as laid down by the Nursing Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act and all other applicable prescripts<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate\u00a0basic\u00a0understanding of nursing legislation and related legal and ethical nursing practices<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate\u00a0ability\u00a0to work under pressure and to meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate effective utilisation of resources<\/li>\n<li>Appropriate care and use of equipment and consumables<\/li>\n<li>Assist with\u00a0stock\u00a0register and keep stock inventory<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Staff Nurse Grade 1<\/li>\n<li>Grade 12<\/li>\n<li>Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the SANC<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s\u00a0licence<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years or more but less than five years\u2019 experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply submit CV to\u00a0<strong>rkenny@sa.christelhouse.org\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>31st August, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The mission of Christel House is to break the cycle of poverty around the world.
