The Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) engages in monitoring, advocacy and campaigning within the health system to ensure that every person with HIV has access to quality comprehensive prevention, treatment, care and support services to live a healthy life.<\/p>\n

Job Title: WBS Health Navigator<\/strong>
\nJob Location:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Western Cape
\nDuration:<\/strong> Four Months
\nStart date:<\/strong> August 2018 to December 2018
\nReports to:<\/strong> MSF WBS Counsellor (Technical Manager) and TAC Supervisor (Line Manager)
\nWorking Hours:<\/strong> 40h\/week in shift to cover: 07:30 to 18:00 from Mondays to Friday and 09:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays, equivalent to 8 hours\/week at TAC branch office<\/p>\n

The purpose of the WBS Health Navigator is to empower individuals and communities to take control of their health through educating them on HIV\/AIDS and TB prevention and treatment (prevention and treatment literacy, or PTL), as well as on the rights and responsibilities of patients.<\/p>\n
