THINK conducts internationally acclaimed clinical research focusing on TB and HIV to improve the quality of life of the people in South Africa and around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0District Adherence Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>eThekwini, Durban<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical Assistance and Support<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical assistance to the Adherence Club Facilitator<\/li>\n<li>Assure education for patients focusing on adherence club data and tracking<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and support Provincial<\/li>\n<li>Manage, THINK and other members\/ partners with the establishment of adherence clubs<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical assistance to districts\/CBOs to find suitable and sustainable venues for community adherence clubs<\/li>\n<li>Access to medications at community adherence club<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical assistance to districts to facilitate distribution of pre-packed medications to community adherence clubs<\/li>\n<li>Support Adherence Club Facilitators in planning and organising the distribution of pre-packed medications to patients attending adherence clubs<\/li>\n<li>Assist THINK in the follow up for viral load testing and mobilisation of CBOs and WBOTs to track lost to follow up patients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly reporting on all established clubs in line with identified data requirements<\/li>\n<li>Review adherence club register tally sheet<\/li>\n<li>Adherence Club Development<\/li>\n<li>Participate in quality improvement and assurance initiatives for THINK<\/li>\n<li>Implement client engagement opportunities and assessment of access needs of quality improvement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant tertiary qualification in Health or Social Services, Community Development<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years\u2019 experience working in Public Health in the field of HIV\/AIDS<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in two languages<\/li>\n<li>Innovative Thinking<\/li>\n<li>Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Compassion<\/li>\n<li>Conflict Handling<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Building Collaborative Partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Resilience<\/li>\n<li>Customer Centric Focus<\/li>\n<li>Technical\/ Professional Knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit<strong>\u00a0s.nzimande@thinksa.org.za\u00a0<\/strong> for inquiries contact Project Director Mr S Nzimande<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a031st July, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>TB and HIV Investigative Network (THINK) is a nonprofit organisation that engages with the local community, government consortia, international researchers and the pharmaceutical industry to develop vaccines, new diagnostic tools&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1350,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[243],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
