NICRO is the main provider of diversion services for children in South Africa, providing diversion services since 1992.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Director of Operations<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company\u2019s operations to facilitate long-term success.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organise and oversee the daily operations of our company<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with Line Manager to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals<\/li>\n<li>Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress<\/li>\n<li>Supervise Area Managers of all Provinces and provide constructive feedback<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organisational objectives and apply improvements<\/li>\n<li>Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation<\/li>\n<li>Oversee client support processes and organise them to enhance client satisfaction<\/li>\n<li>Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability<\/li>\n<li>Revise and\/or formulate policies and promote their implementation<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships\/agreements with external partners\/vendors<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analysing and interpreting data<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations<\/li>\n<li>Marketing and Public Relations of NICRO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Management or related field<\/li>\n<li>Five to seven years proven work experience as operations manager<\/li>\n<li>Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management<\/li>\n<li>Budget development and oversight experience<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the\u00a0organisation and externally<\/li>\n<li>Leadership and organisational skills to strategically manage a turnaround strategy<\/li>\n<li>Experience in this field will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Must be passionate about crime prevention with a good understanding of the South African situation<\/li>\n<li>Leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit your applications to Human Resources Department at <strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:humanresources@nicro.co.za\">humanresources@nicro.co.za<\/a>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>10th August, 2018<\/p>\n<p>If you have not been contacted by 14 August 2018 for an interview you have unfortunately not been shortlisted for the position.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The South African National Institute for Crime Prevention and the Reintegration of Offenders (NICRO), is a national non-governmental organisation that provides comprehensive crime prevention services.
