Working with a diverse community of children from all backgrounds, Zip Zap helps kids to \u2018dare to dream\u2019 and learn to make those dreams a reality. Zip Zap\u2019s programs are all free to participants, with financial and material support coming from individuals, organisation, corporations and foundations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Sustainability Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Salt River,\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> As soon as possible<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research potential local and international patrons to meet Zip Zap\u2019s operational and capital requirements<\/li>\n<li>Write fundraising proposals<\/li>\n<li>Manage sustainability calendar, track submission deadlines, capture reporting dates, reporting requirements\/ objectives, ensure accurate, effective and timeous recording of donations, write thank you letters<\/li>\n<li>Manage, maintain, update the ZZ database<\/li>\n<li>Compile and submit in-kind donation and discount requests to suppliers, corporates and local businesses<\/li>\n<li>Assist and support to the Sustainability team on all fundraising requirements, admin and events, exhibitions and activations as required<\/li>\n<li>Manage the distribution of the Annual Report<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A relevant tertiary qualification in areas such as development studies, journalism, social sciences, humanities, media or marketing<\/li>\n<li>Passion for youth, arts and culture and complete buy-in Zip Zap\u2019s vision and values<\/li>\n<li>Written and verbal communication skills in English with an acute attention to detail (content and format)<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills: Microsoft office package, Email and WWW<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit your CV (maximum four pages \u2013 more will be discarded) with three contactable referees, \u00a0a motivational letter including what you can bring to Zip Zap\u00a0and copy of your ID to \u00a0the Sustainability Manager at\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:info@zip-zap.co.za\">info@zip-zap.co.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>with the subject line:\u00a0Sustainability Officer application plus your name<\/p>\n<p>Please note that if these requirements are not met or respected, your application will not be reviewed.<\/p>\n<p>Management will only correspond with applicants chosen for interviews.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a09th\u00a0August, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zip Zap Circus School was founded in Cape Town in 1992, to inspire young people and help build a new culture of peaceful coexistence in South Africa.
