{"id":41983,"date":"2018-08-01T10:50:08","date_gmt":"2018-08-01T08:50:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=41983"},"modified":"2018-08-01T10:50:08","modified_gmt":"2018-08-01T08:50:08","slug":"home-from-home-new-job-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/home-from-home-new-job-position.html","title":{"rendered":"Home From Home New Job Position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Home from Home Trust, a registered Cluster Foster Care Scheme, provides supported and supervised community based foster care for orphaned, abused and neglected children through a network of small family homes located around the Cape metropole and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Executive Director<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide overall strategic leadership and direction with particular reference to the Vision2020 implementation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper governance and oversight<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all applicable legislation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain donor \/ stakeholder relationships and source new funding opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure implementation and maintenance of financial management systems and donor reporting<\/li>\n<li>Human Resource management<\/li>\n<li>Manage the implementation of monitoring and evaluation database \/ systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An appropriate tertiary qualification<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five to eight years\u2019 senior management experience ideally gained in the nonprofit sector however NPO experience is not a pre-requisite<\/li>\n<li>Strong strategic management and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>A consultative management approach and a willingness to engage with and learn from the experience of others<\/li>\n<li>Experience and skills in human resource management, budgeting and financial management<\/li>\n<li>Experience and skills in fundraising and building and maintaining donor \/ stakeholder relationships<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated communication and networking capabilities, including building partnerships with community and civil society organisations, corporate and government organisations<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in evaluating impact assessment of monitoring and evaluation systems an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Ability to carry high workload and work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Written and spoken English.
