Discovery<\/strong> is offering the opportunity of a lifetime to 15 of South Africa’s brightest young people living a disability. This opportunity is open for South Africans living with a DISABILITY ONLY.<\/p>\n

Key Outputs:<\/strong>
\nThe skills programme consists of structured unit standard based learning combined with practical\/workplace experience which totals to 300 learning hours.<\/p>\n

The successful learners will:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 gain access to the insurance industry with a better employment profile.<\/p>\n

Competencies:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients
\n\u2022 Demonstrate resilience & drive. This will show in the individuals desire to pursue goals despite obstacles
\n\u2022 The ability to relate well to diverse people
\n\u2022 Detail orientation
\n\u2022 Desire and potential to learn
\n\u2022 Self motivated
\n\u2022 Basic computer skills<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Experience:<\/strong>
\nThere are certain criteria that need to be met before you will be considered for this vacancy:<\/p>\n

– Be a South African Citizen and be in possession of a valid SA ID book;
\n– provide Medical proof of disability
\n– Hold a valid & recognised Diploma and Degree( completed qualification in the last 6 months);
\n– Not be engaged in formal employment;
\n– Be between the ages of 20 and 30 years;
\n– Express a keen interest in administration and customer service;<\/p>\n

\nPreference will be given to applicants from designated groups and suitable internal candidates in line with Discovery\u2019s policies<\/p>\n
