leadership, wellness and life-skills development.<\/p>\n<p>MAD Leadership Foundation\u00a0seeks to appoint a \u00a0based in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Junior Scholar\u00a0Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Bellville, Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Market-related salary<\/p>\n<p>Junior Scholar Coordinator be responsible for caring for our junior scholars on the programme (Grade 8 to Grade 10).<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage all financial and administrative matters about the scholars:\n<ul>\n<li>All financial and administrative tasks connected to coordinating and taking care of a group of scholars<\/li>\n<li>Accurately track the scholars\u2019 budget<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all educational and academic necessities are provided to the scholar in a timeous manner<\/li>\n<li>Accurately capturing of any data about the scholars<\/li>\n<li>Organise, book and plan any practical or travel logistics for the scholars<\/li>\n<li>Assist the team in planning, organising and attending functions or events for our scholars<\/li>\n<li>Accurately track scholars&#8217; academic, social and personal development<\/li>\n<li>Quarterly writing of professional reports to provide feedback on scholar\u2019s performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and implement support services where necessary i.e\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the scholars, schools, parents or any third party involved<\/li>\n<li>Regular school visits<\/li>\n<li>Provide access to resources on an academic, social or emotional level<\/li>\n<li>Offer emotional support and guidance to scholars on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>Identify any problems and arranging the necessary interventions either through the multi-disciplinary team or external service providers such as for academic tutoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Grow meaningful relationships with all stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Assist with any other task that might be part of your professional training (i.e. psychometric assessments, counselling etc.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified as either one of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0A psychologist or registered counsellor<\/li>\n<li>Teacher<\/li>\n<li>Social worker<\/li>\n<li>Community\/youth development worker<\/li>\n<li>Registration with the appropriate professional board (HPCSA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Initiative to perceive<\/li>\n<li>Patience to build positive relationships with the scholars<\/li>\n<li>Strong work ethic<\/li>\n<li>Ability to deliver high-quality care and support to our scholars<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with young people (age 12 to 22 years\u2019) and their families<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal, administrative, organisational and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and to multi-task<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel on a regular basis<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s licence and a reliable car<\/li>\n<li>South African citizen<\/li>\n<li>Clear criminal record<\/li>\n<li>A third language would be highly
