The core business of Child Welfare South Africa &#8211; Meyerton is child protection. The organisation achieves this through awareness, prevention, early intervention, statutory intervention, alternative care family reunification services.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Social Workers [2 Positions]<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Meyerton<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> Will be based on subsidy from the Gauteng Department of Social Development<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three years B-degree or relevant qualification in Social Work that allows for registration with the SACSSP<\/li>\n<li>Proof of registration with South African council for social service profession as a social worker<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of three\u00a0years\u2019 appropriate experience in social work after registration as a social worker with the SACSSP<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of all relevant legislation in the Child Protection Field<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead a team of social work professionals and auxiliary services<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret the Children\u2019s Act in relation to recommendations applicable to the individual case.<\/li>\n<li>Police- and Child Protection register clearance<\/li>\n<li>Must\u00a0be able to communicate primarily in\u00a0Afrikaans and English<\/li>\n<li>Statutory services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit a CV and motivational letter and certified copies to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:blommehoekie@gmail.com\">blommehoekie@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application closing date:<\/strong> Wednesday, 22 August, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meyerton Child Welfare\u2019s (CWSA) vision is to create a caring community that protects all of the children, meeting their needs for love, safety and opportunity.
