Both partners have a deep understanding of the core components required to establish successful, self-sufficient, independent business owners who are able to provide quality education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> R28 000 to R30 000<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to manage a staff team as well as all the deliverables for the region. This includes servicing our existing 24 ECD Centres in low income areas in Cape Town as well as establishing a further 6 centres during the course of 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>Business Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage Business Plan for the region<\/li>\n<li>Develop and Manage the Implementation Plan for the Western Cape Region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regional staff management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit all new staff for the region<\/li>\n<li>Team meeting report planning \/ updates \/ distribution for CT<\/li>\n<li>Performance management of all regional staff<\/li>\n<li>Manage annual salary reviews of all regional staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Internal\n<ul>\n<li>Financial Budget<\/li>\n<li>Give input annual financial budget for the region<\/li>\n<li>Submit all invoices<\/li>\n<li>Check monthly management accounts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Funding\n<ul>\n<li>Humulani, Saville Foundation and Myschool<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>High level Operations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the implementation of the &#8220;GROW with Educare Centres&#8221; Chain of Events:\n<ul>\n<li>Internal<\/li>\n<li>Training<\/li>\n<li>Franchisee<\/li>\n<li>Grow Learning Company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Marketing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Staff business cards<\/li>\n<li>Utilise Marketing collateral:\n<ul>\n<li>Website<\/li>\n<li>Brochure<\/li>\n<li>Video<\/li>\n<li>Social Media &#8211; Facebook page<\/li>\n<li>Pop-up banner<\/li>\n<li>Mascot &#8211; Hippos<\/li>\n<li>GROW with Educare Centres aprons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Recruitment of New Franchisees:<\/p>\n<p>In conjunction with the Education Implementation Manager in Cape Town:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Field all initial calls from potential Franchisees (usually existing Principals of Centres)<\/li>\n<li>Host information days for potential new Franchisees<\/li>\n<li>Do initial site visit to check viability<\/li>\n<li>Set up and facilitate recruitment day<\/li>\n<li>Arrange final site visits before sign up with infrastructure upgrades person for quotes<\/li>\n<li>Secure deposit payments<\/li>\n<li>Map out orders for each new Centre<\/li>\n<li>Work through Disclosure Document with final recruit<\/li>\n<li>Work through Franchise Agreement with final recruit<\/li>\n<li>Complete the new Franchisee file<\/li>\n<li>Oversee upfront inventory check<\/li>\n<li>Manage the implementation process at new Centres with Regional Education Manager<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ordering:<\/p>\n<p>Oversee Education Mentor (Orders) with regards to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Centres:\n<ul>\n<li>Annual new Centres orders for set up<\/li>\n<li>\u2018Top up\u2019 orders for existing Centres<\/li>\n<li>Annual consumable\u2019s orders<\/li>\n<li>Other supplier orders e.g. Makro<\/li>\n<li>Tracking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Marketing material for Centres<\/li>\n<li>Printing orders<\/li>\n<li>Stationary orders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Infrastructure Upgrades:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Source contractor to manage infrastructure upgrade\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the infrastructure upgrade process:<\/li>\n<li>Sign off on quotes<\/li>\n<li>Pay invoices<\/li>\n<li>Do inspection of final work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Existing Franchisees:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the planning and execution of the monthly franchisee meetings<\/li>\n<li>Manage the partnership and compliance of franchisees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stakeholder Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and manage database of Department of Social Development contacts<\/li>\n<li>Create and manage database of NGO contacts and management\u00a0of NGO file<\/li>\n<li>Arranging and overseeing all stakeholder events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong project management skills are essential<\/li>\n<li>Experience at management level in an NGO in the ECD space<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit your\u00a0CV to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:muslima@growecd.org.za\">muslima@growecd.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>31st August 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The GROW with Educare Centres project was incubated by a partnership between The Clothing Bank and Grow Learning Company.
