{"id":42352,"date":"2018-08-23T11:40:48","date_gmt":"2018-08-23T09:40:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=42352"},"modified":"2018-08-23T11:36:38","modified_gmt":"2018-08-23T09:36:38","slug":"community-intervention-centre-cic-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/community-intervention-centre-cic-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Community Intervention Centre (CIC) Ongoing Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Established in 2001, the Community Intervention Centre (CIC) is a nonprofit and non-governmental organisation with a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers that provides a free 24-hour on-site trauma intervention and support service to the Blaauwberg community and beyond.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Training Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Working Hours:<\/strong> Eight\u00a0hours per week,\u00a0flexible<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> R5000 per month<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will play an integral role in capacity building of the support services, reporting and working in conjunction with GM.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement the training arm of CIC<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quality of training that is current and standardized<\/li>\n<li>Ensure availability of\u00a0trauma volunteers that renders effective services<\/li>\n<li>Ensure skills development plan for current volunteers and staff is in place<\/li>\n<li>Offer skills and capacity building to NPO and\u00a0corporate companies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in Victim Empowerment environment and counselling<\/li>\n<li>Qualification and proven experience in training<\/li>\n<li>Communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the three official languages of the WC<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>A National Senior Certificate<\/li>\n<li>A valid driver\u2019s license and vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional training and motivational speaking skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Expectations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to standardize VEP\/Trauma training material<\/li>\n<li>Research to ensure training remains current<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment and facilitation of training of individuals and groups<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs of trauma volunteers in line with service delivery and consultation with GM<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and management of training budget<\/li>\n<li>Applications for funding for Capacity building<\/li>\n<li>Corporate Training and Debriefing: recruit new training avenues and facilitate training\/CISD<\/li>\n<li>Customer service evaluation as part of continuous development of training material and trainees<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance to CIC policies and operating procedures<\/li>\n<li>Attendance of appropriate forums, meetings and workshops as required<\/li>\n<li>A self-starter and ability to work autonomously, whilst being a team player<\/li>\n<li>Professional, confident and show initiative in the position<\/li>\n<li>Maintains understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply send your CV and proof of qualifications to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:manager@cic-capetown.org\">manager@cic-capetown.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have not received a reply within two weeks, consider your application unsuccessful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a024th\u00a0August, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Established in 2001, the Community Intervention Centre (CIC) is a nonprofit and non-governmental organisation with a small team of dedicated staff and volunteers that provides a free 24-hour on-site trauma&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1350,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[243],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
