{"id":42374,"date":"2018-08-26T09:30:36","date_gmt":"2018-08-26T07:30:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=42374"},"modified":"2018-08-24T12:42:08","modified_gmt":"2018-08-24T10:42:08","slug":"pact-ongoing-recruitment-share-apply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/pact-ongoing-recruitment-share-apply.html","title":{"rendered":"Pact Ongoing Recruitment &#8211; Share &#038; Apply"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pact, an international NGO based in Pretoria, seeks to employ a Community Health and Referral Systems Specialist up to June 2020 to support its USAID Funded Government Capacity Building Program (GCBS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Community Health and Referral Systems Specialist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: Pretoria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Community Health and Referral Systems Specialist (HRSS) will play a pivotal role in ensuring functional bi-directional referral systems between communities, clinical services, and social service providers. Proficiency in dealing with M&amp;E is essential and also expertise in referral systems.<br \/>\n<strong>Minimum Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervising Community Health, Referral and Linkage Officers and a Peace Corps volunteer in selected provinces\/districts;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure functional bi-directional referral systems in all provinces\/districts;<\/li>\n<li>Monitor success of the referral systems, and provide support to troubleshoot and problem-solve as needed;<\/li>\n<li>Conduct technical assistance and mentoring with DSD staff, NPO staff, project staff\u00a0 and health facility staff on effective bi-directional referral systems and case management;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with HIV Testing and Counseling providers and manage the national calendar for\u00a0 community outreach schedules and provincial partnerships;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate quarterly district level quality improvement meetings with relevant bidirectional referrals stakeholders as required;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with the M&amp;E team to ensure all bi-directional referrals data are accurate;<\/li>\n<li>Produce weekly; use data for decision-making and ensure partners are using data to conduct needed follow-up for systematic follow up of cases of incomplete referrals;<\/li>\n<li>Report on referral systems and PEFPAR\u2019s key performance indicators on a monthly basis;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that program information is accurately and promptly communicated from and to the field;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education and Experience Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Honors degree or higher, preferably in one of the Social Sciences; MPH preferred;<\/li>\n<li>Strong M&amp;E skills and experience in strategic information;<\/li>\n<li>Five years or more experience in HIV services with management of clinical and community programs preferred;<\/li>\n<li>At least five years\u2019 experience in a field position with an organization in public health or OVC programming; experience in developing and managing referral systems preferred;<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PEPFAR funded projects in South Africa;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including report writing;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent training skills in working with adult learners, particularly at the community level; experience in an appreciative approach a plus;<\/li>\n<li>Able and willing to work flexible hours as needed and without constant or close supervision;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills;<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms Office and Ms Outlook;<\/li>\n<li>Must be a South African national or permanent resident with fluency in English and in at least one local indigenous South African language;<\/li>\n<li>Must have a valid South African driver\u2019s license and be willing to travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Only applicants possessing the prescribed minimum qualifications and experience are invited to submit their electronic CVs and application letters with a subject line \u201c<strong>Community Health and Referral Systems Specialist<\/strong>\u201d to<strong>\u00a0technicalapps@pactworld.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtecenter\">Closing Date:<strong>\u00a07 September\u00a02018.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Pact<\/em>\u00a0<em>reserves<\/em>\u00a0<em>the right to verify all information provided by candidates including credit rating.
