DPSA is recognised as the national assembly of disabled people by Disabled People International (DPI), which has observer status in the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Provincial Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Western Cape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office Management<\/li>\n<li>Typing of minutes, letters, reports and any other documents<\/li>\n<li>Capturing of membership<\/li>\n<li>Filling of office documents and ensuring that filling system is kept in line with policies and procedures of the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Handling of daily correspondence and ensuring that correspondence is dealt with timeously<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the cleaning person<\/li>\n<li>Order and manage stationary in line with the allocated budget<\/li>\n<li>Bookings and organising of meetings<\/li>\n<li>Manage and reconciliation of petty cash<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with regard to appointments of the Provincial Project Coordinator<\/li>\n<li>Strong passion for development of people with disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Strong background on disability activism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administrative knowledge<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of a Grade 10 Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Certificate in Office Administration<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two years proven experience in similar position<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and in a team and able to forge relationships with partners and funders<\/li>\n<li>Communication (written and verbal) skills and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of disability issues and the disability environment<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two years as an office administrator<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working for an NGO at similar position preferred<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit your CV together with certified copies of your professional qualifications to the National Programmes Manager, Ms. Gillian Moses to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:gillian@dpsa.org.za\">gillian@dpsa.org.za<\/a><\/strong>, or Fax:\u00a0086 547 5880<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> 14th\u00a0September, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Disabled People South Africa (DPSA) is a nonprofit and democratic cross-disability body made up of member organisations of disabled people that mobilises and advocate for their rights for attainment of&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1350,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[19],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
