Both partners have a deep understanding of the core components required to establish successful, self-sufficient, independent business owners who are able to provide quality education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Business Mentor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Durban<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to assist school principals with running financial and business operations in their schools, registering schools, applying for government subsidies and meeting DSD requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Monthly financial mentoring:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial mentoring of the Educare Centres:\n<ul>\n<li>One on one with each Principal each month to review Budget vs Actual<\/li>\n<li>Capture actual and discuss the next month\u2019s revenue and expenses<\/li>\n<li>Monitor franchisee deposit and franchise fee payment on monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Review each Centres progress with Regional Implementation Manager<\/li>\n<li>Report on a monthly basis i.e. summary dashboard, summary of outstanding\u2019s for registration, key performance indicators etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Business Operations Management:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial file\n<ul>\n<li>Hand out and explain the financial monthly reporting process to all new franchisees<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the franchisee understands how to make a payment \/ debit order for franchise fees on a monthly basis<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Franchisee understands the Insurance Policy and requirements thereof<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Admission File\n<ul>\n<li>Manage annual new admissions process in September each year<\/li>\n<li>Prepare admission packs, distribute and explain process<\/li>\n<li>Hand out admission file and explain how it will be used<\/li>\n<li>Do annual review to ensure it is being used correctly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Staff file\n<ul>\n<li>Setup up and train franchisees on staff file<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Do annual review to ensure it is being used correctly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Business Plans:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete a business plan per Centre for the purposes of registration with the Department of Social Development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Government Subsidies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist all Centres who want to pursue the Government Subsidy \u2013 application and reporting submission process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training<\/li>\n<li>Co-facilitate \u201cMe and My Money\u201d to all new franchisees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit your\u00a0CV to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:tara@growecd.org.za\">tara@growecd.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>14th September, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The GROW with Educare Centres project was incubated by a partnership between The Clothing Bank and Grow Learning Company.
