treatment, training and prevention of HIV and related infections in Southern Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Pharmacist<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Masiphumelele, Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>This full-time permanent post.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain pharmacy SOPs and Establishment Plans<\/li>\n<li>Maintain pharmacy sections of the Research Site Files<\/li>\n<li>Maintain pharmacy technical appliances \u2013 calibrate temperature monitoring devices<\/li>\n<li>Maintain restricted access control to pharmacy<\/li>\n<li>Investigational Product Management<\/li>\n<li>Maintain adequate stock levels of IP in full at the site<\/li>\n<li>Receive IP from DTHF pharmacy \u2013 document receipt and resolve discrepancies<\/li>\n<li>Store IP under correct conditions at the site<\/li>\n<li>Label IP prior to dispensing<\/li>\n<li>Check prescriptions prior to randomisation \/ dispensing IP<\/li>\n<li>Assign participants to IP &#8211; randomisation<\/li>\n<li>Dispense IP as per specific protocol requirements<\/li>\n<li>Receive and reconcile IP returns<\/li>\n<li>Store IP (used and unused) on site until monitor confirms IP accountability<\/li>\n<li>Dispose of used IP as per sponsor requirements<\/li>\n<li>Return unused IP to DTHF pharmacy for storage until IP destruction permitted<\/li>\n<li>Record Management<\/li>\n<li>Maintain IP accountability records in accordance with the standards required by the SAPC, MCC, ICH-GCP and IPM<\/li>\n<li>Maintain prescription records against which IP is dispensed<\/li>\n<li>STI and Family Planning Clinic<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the ordering of stock and preparation of statistics<\/li>\n<li>Capture scripts<\/li>\n<li>Perform all the applicable duties as described in Good Pharmacy Practice<\/li>\n<li>Dispense medicine and supervise post-basic assistant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Pharmacy plus Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council<\/li>\n<li>Two to three years\u2019 experience as a Pharmacist<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Clinical Trails experience will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Ability to development and build partnership with external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Strong decision-making and effective problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use own initiative and facilitate change<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and writing communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Work
