{"id":42597,"date":"2018-09-06T11:41:13","date_gmt":"2018-09-06T09:41:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=42597"},"modified":"2018-09-06T11:41:13","modified_gmt":"2018-09-06T09:41:13","slug":"pact-current-job-opportunity-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/pact-current-job-opportunity-available.html","title":{"rendered":"Pact Current Job Opportunity Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pact, an International NGO based in Pretoria, seeks to employ a candidate with expertise in Data Capturing for 12 months to implement its USAID- funded Government Capacity Building Support Program (GCBS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Data Support Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Gert Sibande, Mpumalanga<\/p>\n<p>The Data Support Officer will be based in Gert Sibande District, Mpumalanga and will report to the Provincial M&amp;E Advisor. S\/he will be responsible for capturing data at the relevant Department of Social Development (DSD) service delivery points and non-profit organizations (NPOs) as per the GBCS Program work plan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Key Responsibilities and duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure accurate daily data capturing and consolidation for designated service points and non-profit organizations (NPOs) using available data capturing system;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all data are captured according to the standard operating procedures;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that data is transmitted to the relevant manager within the set time frames;<\/li>\n<li>Participate in data quality management by performing systems verifications, data quality assurance and control measures;<\/li>\n<li>Complete monthly reporting templates and timely submission thereof;<\/li>\n<li>Support service points and NPOs to address emerging data management issues;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education and Expertise Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate must be in possession of a Bachelor\u2019s Degree;<\/li>\n<li>A Post-graduate qualification will be advantageous;<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum of two years\u2019 working experience in data capturing, data management and or\/ analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in MS Word, MS Power Point and MS Excel;<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in written and verbal English communication;<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and be a team player;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of administrative procedures and functions;<\/li>\n<li>Must be a South African national with fluency in at least one local indigenous South African language<\/li>\n<li>A valid driver\u2019s license is preferable and must be willing to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Suitable candidates are requested to email their CV\u2019s with the subject line \u201cData Support Officer\u201d to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:sarecruitment@pactworld.org\">sarecruitment@pactworld.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtecenter\"><strong>Closing date:\u00a0<\/strong>17 September 2018<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtecenter\"><em>Pact<\/em>\u00a0<em>reserves<\/em>\u00a0<em>the right to verify all information provided by candidates including credit rating.
