Our services include counselling and psycho-educational support, training, home support and distribution of resources.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Education and Outreach Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> January 2019<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Human resource management<\/li>\n<li>Plan and Coordinate outreach team<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and manage<\/li>\n<li>Provision of psychosocial support and counselling to individuals, families and caregivers impacted by autism<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate training and workshops<\/li>\n<li>Train and support to new and existing schools \/ centres<\/li>\n<li>Outreach to broader areas of the Western Cape (outside of Cape Town)<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and support in the establishment of parent-based (or other) Autism Spectrum Disorder schools and centres<\/li>\n<li>Advocacy for the rights to education for autistic children<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in a related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two\u00a0years\u2019 experience in the NGO sector, preferably at a senior level<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy Microsoft Office (Word, Excel.
