{"id":42999,"date":"2018-10-02T11:32:18","date_gmt":"2018-10-02T09:32:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=42999"},"modified":"2018-10-02T11:32:18","modified_gmt":"2018-10-02T09:32:18","slug":"cyril-ramaphosa-education-trust-bursary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/cyril-ramaphosa-education-trust-bursary.html","title":{"rendered":"Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust Bursary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Cyril Ramaphose Education Trust has a different approach to the management of its education programme and aims to recruit candidates that would ordinarily be overlooked by other bursary programmes,<br \/>\nwhich commonly seek out the top achievers only.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Cyril Ramaphosa Education Trust Bursary<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is eligible to apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Any student from a financially needy background who can demonstrate such need.<\/p>\n<p>Our goal is to provide financial assistance for those students who, without additional support would not apply to study further and\/or complete their chosen qualification.<\/p>\n<p>Preference will be given each year to essential and scarce skills education applicants as determined by the Department of Labour, various SETAs, and other labour and economic advisors.<\/p>\n<p>Further non-negotiable criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learners, or unemployed youth between the ages of 16 and 30 years, who want to complete a recognised undergraduate, or other qualification, through a recognised South African institution (overseas and post-graduate study is not negotiable)<\/li>\n<li>The bursary is only awarded to South African citizens with a valid South African ID number<\/li>\n<li>Bursary applicants must already have applied for study at the accredited institution and provide proof thereof, on application<\/li>\n<li>The bursary applicant is not permitted to change the area of specialisation on which basis the bursary was applied for, based on the acceptance letter from the institution<\/li>\n<li>The applicant should demonstrate good academic, leadership and empathetic ability, with high values and developmental communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How does a student apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Prospective bursars must download the CRET application forms <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyrilramaphosafoundation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/CRET-APPLICATION-FORM-2019-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO: APPLICATION FORM<\/a> and apply before the closing date of end November prior to the year of intended study.<\/p>\n<p>Applications, and all queries, need to be sent to\u00a0<strong>cretbursary@cyrilramaphosa.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No other application email avenues will be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are welcome via post or drop in, but walk ins will not be met unless an appointment has been scheduled telephonically or via email to the above address.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Closing Date:<\/strong> November 30, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cyril Ramaphose Education Trust has a different approach to the management of its education programme and aims to recruit candidates that would ordinarily be overlooked by other bursary programmes,&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1350,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[334],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
