Equal Education is a movement of learners, parents, teachers and community members working for quality and equality in South African education, through analysis and activism. Equal Education is organised in five provinces: Eastern Cape, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, and the Western Cape. Equal Education works by identifying systemic and localised problems affecting the quality of education, and addresses these problems through local and national campaigns; a commitment to robust political education and campaign strategising with members; and building a strong research base through primary and secondary research.<\/p>\n

Equal Education seeks to fill another exciting vacancy within the Internal Education and Training Unit (IETU).\u00a0The successful candidates must have a strong commitment to democracy, equality, intersectionality, social justice and human rights.<\/p>\n

Job Title: Curriculum Developer<\/strong>

The Curriculum Developer plays a vital role in the development of core curriculum to advance EE\u2019s post-school youth work. The Curriculum Developer is also tasked with developing content and running regular political schools and seminars to strengthen young social justice activists. This also includes supporting provinces that EE is organized in; develop new content to advance campaigns and activist education.<\/p>\n
