SFH in South Africa concentrates on issues of HIV\/ AIDS. As part of their HIV\/AIDS control efforts, SFH is using social marketing to motivate behaviour change with respect to consistent condom use, HIV testing and other safer behaviours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Information Technology Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Department:<\/strong> Information Technology Department<br \/>\n<strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Deputy Country Director<br \/>\n<strong>Employment Status:<\/strong> Project Based Contract<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>System Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support all application systems used by SFH by maintaining, improving and attending to all system user problems<\/li>\n<li>Performs integrity and availability checks of SFH systems<\/li>\n<li>Check manual versus system data to make sure that there are no discrepancies in data flow from its inception up to the reporting stage<\/li>\n<li>Ensure availability of servers and network to make sure that data is available as and when required for decision making by various program managers<\/li>\n<li>Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures for in-house design systems<\/li>\n<li>Ensure SFH has the right ITC infrastructure to carry out day to day business and recording program data<\/li>\n<li>Manage relationships and contract with service providers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Systems Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop Internal Systems for organisational &amp;implementing partners to use<\/li>\n<li>Conduct requirements analysis and specifications proposals for new systems<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement the developed systems<\/li>\n<li>Validate tests and implement the developed systems<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the new internal systems<\/li>\n<li>Analyse results in decision regarding system design which determines the system operation in terms of the process, data and hardware requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Provider User Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide first line user and telephone support to Head Office and Site Offices for:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0Desktops and printers<br \/>\n&#8211; Servers (database servers and main server<br \/>\n&#8211; LAN (Switches, Hubs, Routers and patch panels)<br \/>\n&#8211; Internet and email<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide support within the allocated time frame<\/li>\n<li>Provide support in accordance with policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Manage ITC Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage server system systems and ITC infrastructure around telecommunications<\/li>\n<li>Ensure disaster recovery plans are in place in for business continuity eg.
