{"id":43610,"date":"2018-11-15T12:09:26","date_gmt":"2018-11-15T10:09:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=43610"},"modified":"2018-11-15T12:09:26","modified_gmt":"2018-11-15T10:09:26","slug":"mikhulu-trust-ongoing-recruitment-share-apply","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/mikhulu-trust-ongoing-recruitment-share-apply.html","title":{"rendered":"Mikhulu Trust Ongoing Recruitment &#8211; Share &#038; Apply"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Mikhulu Trust is a nonprofit organisation that helps parents provide the best support for their young children\u2019s development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Chief Operations Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Start Date:<\/strong> 1 March 2019<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Chief Operations Officer is to be responsible for managing partnerships and the delivery of training programmes, and directing the monitoring and evaluation system.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grow, capacitate and support a network of 30 \u2013 60 implementing partners, including government and non-profit organisations<\/li>\n<li>Drive the collection of data for our monitoring and evaluation system, and write internal reports<\/li>\n<li>Line-manage three to eight staff members and supervise internal administrative procedures<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the development and delivery of our training programmes and materials<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of the organisation, through participating in strategic planning, representing the organisation publicly, and assisting with fundraising and reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tertiary-level qualification in a relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years\u2019 experience in managing teams and programme delivery<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing partnerships, particularly with government<\/li>\n<li>Passion for early childhood and family education<\/li>\n<li>Organised and reliable<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work productively and happily in a small, diverse, and very collaborative team<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic about investing at least three years scaling an impactful organisation<\/li>\n<li>Experience in adult education, early childhood development, or developmental psychology would be advantageous<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit CV and motivation (not longer than a page) to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:david.jeffery@mikhulutrust.org\">david.jeffery@mikhulutrust.org<\/a><\/strong>, with \u2018COO Application \u2013 NAME SURNAME\u2019 in the subject title<\/p>\n<p>Short-listed candidates will be interviewed in Cape Town between 3rd \u2013 7th December 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Only short-listed candidates will be conducted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>25th November, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Mikhulu Trust is a nonprofit organisation that helps parents provide the best support for their young children\u2019s development.
