{"id":43615,"date":"2018-11-16T15:57:22","date_gmt":"2018-11-16T13:57:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=43615"},"modified":"2018-11-16T15:59:02","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T13:59:02","slug":"joint-aid-management-jam-international-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/joint-aid-management-jam-international-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Joint Aid Management (JAM) International Ongoing Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Joint Aid Management (JAM) is a South African founded humanitarian nonprofit organisation that works to empower Africans to create better lives for themselves.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Area Supervisor<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to supervise the implementation of the JAMSA nutritional feeding programme, including the effectiveness of Monitors day to day activities and other programming in a designated area.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nutrition and Makeover Programming \u2013 80%<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise the nutrition programme in accordance with the Nutrition Standard Operating Procedures, approved objectives, expansion plans, plans of action and budget<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all relevant procedures of the Monitoring and Evaluation Tool Kit are completed correctly and on time for each partner and ECDs<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the completion of consent forms at ECD centres within three months of starting feeding<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the completion of a Monthly Monitoring Summary for the current month and a delivery planner for each ECD\/Partner for the next delivery period by the 10th of each month.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with and ensure food deliveries are carried out as per approved delivery planners on ODK<\/li>\n<li>Assist the DM&amp;E Coordinator in the training and re-training of Monitors on the JAMSA Monitoring and Evaluation framework, systems and equipment<\/li>\n<li>Assist the DM&amp;E Coordinator with evaluations of programme interventions<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance in building the capacity of ECD centres and their staff<\/li>\n<li>Provide assistance with Makeovers and Donor Relations as designated by the Stakeholder Coordinator \/ Programmes Manager<\/li>\n<li>Network with other stakeholders including NGOs, FBOs, CBOs and local government officials and community leaders so as to ensure ECD quality and innovation<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the development of JAMSA strategies, planning and budgeting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Financial Management \u2013 10%<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure reconciliation of cash advances, including Bidvest at each month end<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Community Development Officer in the sourcing and interviewing potential Monitors Conduct six monthly performance appraisals of each Monitor<\/li>\n<li>Conduct monthly probation appraisals for new staff reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Key Performance Indicators<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compile and submit monthly report to the Community Development Officer by the 5th of the following month<\/li>\n<li>Compile and submit a delivery planner for the following month to the Community Development Officer by the 10th of the following month<\/li>\n<li>100% of Partner\/ECDs submit Stock Registers monthly by the 5th of the following month<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Evaluation Tools are completed as per requirements<\/li>\n<li>Training of Monitors and quality of data checks are carried out in accordance with the Nutrition Programme Standard Operating procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two-year Diploma preferably in a development related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years\u2019 experience in community development or related training<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Word suite and use of mobile applications<\/li>\n<li>Supervision, organisational and conflict resolution skills<\/li>\n<li>Decision making and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Time management and work scheduling skills<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills -both oral and written in English and an African language<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal relations and ability to work well with others<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of South African society<\/li>\n<li>Valid drivers\u2019 license or PDP<\/li>\n<li>Honesty, integrity, professionalism<\/li>\n<li>Willing to work overtime<\/li>\n<li>Able to uphold Christian values and the reputation of the organization as a Christian organisation<\/li>\n<li>Willing to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit CV to Fiona\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment.sa@jamint.com\">recruitment.sa@jamint.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>29th November, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joint Aid Management (JAM) is a South African founded humanitarian nonprofit organisation that works to empower Africans to create better lives for themselves.
