These causes can range from registered nonprofit organisations to individuals who need funds for a variety of reasons including medical expenses, studies etc. BackaBuddy believes in the power of individual philanthropy and peer to peer giving through technology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Crowdfunding Campaign Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>De Waterkant, Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Start date<\/strong>: As soon as possible<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong> R5\u00a0000 per month<br \/>\n<strong>Duration:<\/strong> 3 months\u2019 contract \u2013 \u00a0To be permanent after successful completion of probation period.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to assist the Backabuddy Team in the creation and implementation of online crowdfunding initiatives and campaign management.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the development and execution of Backabuddy&#8217;s online program to cultivate champions\/campaign creators and solicit donations from current and prospective Backabuddy donors<\/li>\n<li>Manage and produce campaigns for targeted online Backabuddy crowdfunding campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Work extensively with Backabuddy&#8217;s online crowdfunding platform, including: Managing e-mail, Setting up and launching scheduled online campaigns\/charities, Maintain campaign\/charity pages, Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>\u00a0An interest in crowdfunding \/crowdfunding design and online implementation<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literacy: Knowledge of G-mail and Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work both independently and within a team environment<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to the objectives and mission of the organization<\/li>\n<li>Analytical, written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">To apply, submit your CV and a well customized cover letter to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:info@backabuddy.co.za\">info@backabuddy.co.za<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>19th November, 2018<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BackaBuddy is an online fundraising platform that is designed to help individuals raise funds for causes they are passionate about.
