Accessible representatives, a commitment to service excellence and quick turnaround times are just some of the traits that have established WHC as a trusted, reputable and value-adding business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong><strong>\u00a0Grants Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Centurion, Gauteng<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main purpose of the job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To lead the provision of effective financial and administrative support services, specifically in the areas of financial management, donor liaison and organizational administration for a large United States Government funded project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key performance areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Budget preparation and management\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with the Senior Project Management regarding preparation and submission of annual budgets<\/li>\n<li>Preparation and submission of routine financial and narrative reports specific to the project<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the relevant donor-representatives regarding budget approval, contract approval and transfer of funds<\/li>\n<li>Allocate and manage budgets as per contracts<\/li>\n<li>Manage the expenditure and reporting requirements of the contract<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compile financial and donor reports\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collect and collate all relevant data from the accounting system<\/li>\n<li>Compile monthly management reports and present to the project\u2019s Senior Management team<\/li>\n<li>Compile financial reports for donors as per donor requirements<\/li>\n<li>Timeously submit all financial and donor reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Liaison with all relevant stakeholders<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate and liaise with donor representatives<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with finance staff at WHC<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers as necessary to ensure effective delivery and to maintain proper relations<\/li>\n<li>Co-operatively review project reports and modify where necessary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Effective compliance with donor requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with donor representatives and compliance officers around donor compliance requirements and ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of any compliance issues<\/li>\n<li>Compile financial policies and procedures which are in line with donor and WHC requirements<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of policies and procedures e.g. USAID, Compliance checks with on payments<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with donor requirements in terms of reporting<\/li>\n<li>Follow up and correcting compliance queries and addressing audit queries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required minimum education and training<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.Com (Accounting) (preferably CA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required minimum work experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 7 years working experience in Accounting and or Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>10 years Project Management experience<\/li>\n<li>5 years of USAID \/ PEPFAR Grant Management experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable additional education, work experience and personal abilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have a valid driver\u2019s license and own vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Experience with USG Code of Federal Regulations and USAID Rules and Regulations is required<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of SAGEX3, IFRS and the SA GAAP<\/li>\n<li>Must have experience in a donor-funded environment and must have good understanding of the project management of a large grant<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate effectively with stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of donor and contractual requirements<\/li>\n<li>Must have an understanding of M&amp;E and the implementation thereof<\/li>\n<li>Organized, thorough and accurate approach to work<\/li>\n<li>Resilient with demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Above average computer skills, particularly in MS Excel, MS Access, MS Outlook and MS Word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Should you be interested in applying for this vacancy, clearly state which vacancy you are applying for and forward your detailed CV to:\u00a0<strong>Nomonde Gaju<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:ngaju@witshealth.co.za\">ngaju@witshealth.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The closing date for all applications is 07 December 2018<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WHC provides world-class administrative support to its divisions through a wide range of Shared Services Centre functions.
