{"id":43847,"date":"2018-12-04T11:00:21","date_gmt":"2018-12-04T09:00:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=43847"},"modified":"2018-12-03T13:38:02","modified_gmt":"2018-12-03T11:38:02","slug":"hospice-palliative-care-association-of-south-africa-hpca-available-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/hospice-palliative-care-association-of-south-africa-hpca-available-position.html","title":{"rendered":"Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) Available Position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) is a national organisation operating in all nine provinces in South Africa with 134 members and affiliated hospices countrywide<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Accounting<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The primary purpose of this position is to maintain high-quality accounts, meeting business and statutory requirements; and requires financial reporting for financial decision making<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the finance function;<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly management reports;<\/li>\n<li>Provide budget and funder Reports;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure HPCA Compliance with statutory compliance;<\/li>\n<li>Produce Budget and Cash Projections;<\/li>\n<li>Payroll Review and release;<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight for preparation for Audit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B. Com degree or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>5-10 years finance department experience<\/li>\n<li>5 Years\u2019 experience in Auditing<\/li>\n<li>5 Years\u2019 experience in Cost Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of company policies, USAID rules, and VAT legislation<\/li>\n<li>Advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook<\/li>\n<li>Technical\/Professional Knowledge, Skills and Expertise<\/li>\n<li>Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Customer Centric Focus<\/li>\n<li>Leveraging resources<\/li>\n<li>Building and leading a high-performance team<\/li>\n<li>Conflict Handling<\/li>\n<li>Decision making<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please submit a detailed CV, covering letter and names of three contactable references including email contact to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@hpca.co.za\">hr@hpca.co.za<\/a><\/strong>.
