research, treatment, training and prevention of HIV and related infections in Southern Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Financial Accountant<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Financial Accountant is to provide appropriate financial supervising, processing and support services to the stakeholders\u2019 managers and general staff within the operational units in accordance with DTHF requirements, policy and procedures.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong> Two year fixed term contract<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage financial accounting activities for business operations<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, submit and review financial reports<\/li>\n<li>Ensure financial records comply with company policies and accounting principles<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and assist the finance team<\/li>\n<li>Comply with relevant IFRS reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Maintain internal controls<\/li>\n<li>Review Financial Records and Transactions<\/li>\n<li>Deal with TAX \/ SARS Issues<\/li>\n<li>Organise company books and records in preparation for annual and project audits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three to five years\u2019 working experience in a similar role;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of one to years\u2019 experience in team supervision<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of financial practice<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of relevant computer application SAP Business1<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of DATA management and financial data analysis<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of relevant financial legislations and regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy: SAP R\/3 or Business ONE, Microsoft Office (highly proficient in Excel)<\/li>\n<li>Verbal and written communication<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organising skills<\/li>\n<li>An analytical mind<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships<\/li>\n<li>Information collating and monitoring skills<\/li>\n<li>Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Problem analysis and solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Work standards<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Values fit: Passion, Innovation, Progress, Integrity, Respect and
