Specification<\/strong>
\nDefines in conjunction with BD CCOs and regional claims management the claims strategy.
\n\u2022 Responsible for implementation of the strategy and managing the areas\/cross border functional resources and their performance to achieve agreed objectives and sustaining a high performance culture.
\n\u2022 Implements and maintains the talent management strategy.
\n\u2022 Sets and monitors areas\/cross border performance against objectives and balanced score card.
\n\u2022 Keeps the areas\/cross border functions informed of all relevant and appropriate information and fosters good engagement with staff and other functions
\n\u2022 A senior stakeholder in the planning process, including the identification of risks, involvement in leading change initiatives and responsibility for budgetary control.
\n\u2022 Areas\/Cross border function operates within optimum KPI, and works effectively with HR in connection with consistency in pay and reward
\n\u2022 A senior stakeholder in building and measuring success against customer specific claims handling protocol and\/or customer proposition service charter to ensure that we understand & fulfil the needs and expectations of our customers
\n\u2022Drive claims operational excellence on all claims process and reporting
\n\u2022Any additional tasks as assigned<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n

Professional Qualifications
\n\u2022 Matric and NQF level 7, Preferably BCom, Risk, Legal. Etc<\/p>\n

Experience<\/strong>
\n\u2022 10+ years specific claims leadership experience of managing large numbers of staff across locations\/site and\/or functional areas within a large and complex financial services or customer driven organisation
\n\u2022 Previous location\/ site or function managerial experience
\n\u2022 Advanced knowledge of products and services
\n\u2022 Strong understanding of legislation and legal liability
\n\u2022 Detailed understanding of industry standards and protocol
\n\u2022 Excellent knowledge of budgetary processes
\n\u2022 Experience of leading project and organisational change management
\n\u2022 Expert at communicating and building rapport at all levels
\n\u2022 Understanding of claims operational capabilities, strategies and ongoing innovations
\n\u2022 Recognising the benefit of providing excellent customer service
\n\u2022 Ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload
\n\u2022 Detailed awareness of interdependencies with other Bryte functions (underwriting, finance, reinsurance, marketing and legal)
