Implement and drive Bryte strategy by utilising allocating appropriate resources to achieve the agreed objectives which include delivery of an exceptional customer service, financial impact and culture in a manner which support Bryte guiding principle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Head of Claims: Procurement &amp; Assessing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Functions:\u00a0<\/strong>Executive Management, Investigation &amp; Compliance, Management, Operations, Procurement<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reference #:\u00a0<\/strong>HPAC<\/p>\n<p><strong>Contract Type:\u00a0<\/strong>Permanent<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:\u00a0<\/strong>Market Related<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Industries:\u00a0<\/strong>Insurance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specification:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Defines in conjunction with BD CCOs and regional claims management the claims strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for implementation of the strategy and managing the areas\/cross border functional resources and their performance to achieve agreed objectives and sustaining a high performance culture.<\/li>\n<li>Implements and maintains the talent management strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Sets and monitors areas\/cross border performance against objectives and balanced score card.<\/li>\n<li>Keeps the areas\/cross border functions informed of all relevant and appropriate information and fosters good engagement with staff and other functions<\/li>\n<li>A senior stakeholder in the planning process, including the identification of risks, involvement in leading change initiatives and responsibility for budgetary control.<\/li>\n<li>Areas\/Cross border function operates within optimum KPI, and works effectively with HR in connection with consistency in pay and reward<\/li>\n<li>A senior stakeholder in building and measuring success against customer specific claims handling protocol and\/or customer proposition service charter to ensure that we understand &amp; fulfil the needs and expectations of our customers<\/li>\n<li>Drive claims operational excellence on all claims process and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Any additional tasks as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Success Measures<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To work towards and deliver both personal and claims business objectives, in line with the Bryte Claims Scorecard:<\/p>\n<p>1.Financial Effectiveness<\/p>\n<p>2.Operational Efficiency<\/p>\n<p>3.Customer Satisfaction<\/p>\n<p>4.Compliance<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal Professional\/technical competency and development<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with customer protocols\/service charter e.g (TCF &amp; POPI)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Professional Qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric and NQF level 7, Preferably BCom, Risk, Legal. Etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>10+ years specific claims leadership experience of managing large numbers of staff across locations\/site and\/or functional areas within a large and complex financial services or customer driven organisation<\/li>\n<li>Previous location\/ site or function managerial experience<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of products and services<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of legislation and legal liability<\/li>\n<li>Detailed understanding of industry standards and protocol<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of budgetary processes<\/li>\n<li>Experience of leading project and organisational change management<\/li>\n<li>Expert at communicating and building rapport at all levels<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of claims operational capabilities, strategies and ongoing innovations<\/li>\n<li>Recognising the benefit of providing excellent customer service<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively prioritise and organise workload<\/li>\n<li>Detailed awareness of interdependencies with other Bryte functions (underwriting, finance, reinsurance, marketing and legal)<\/li>\n<li>Detailed awareness of market\/industry issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Closing Date:<\/strong> 07\/01\/2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Responsible for the management of the claims function within designated areas, cross border functions.
