{"id":44222,"date":"2019-01-10T19:23:45","date_gmt":"2019-01-10T17:23:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=44222"},"modified":"2019-01-10T19:35:10","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T17:35:10","slug":"child-welfare-durban-and-district-new-job-position-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/child-welfare-durban-and-district-new-job-position-available.html","title":{"rendered":"Child Welfare Durban and District New Job Position Available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Child Welfare Durban and District is an established Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to caring for Children and Youth.\u00a0 We seek to appoint a suitably qualified candidate who will be responsible for the Organisations Procurement programme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Procurement Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Durband<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work from the Organisations head office in Greyville and \u00a0will report to the Financial Manager.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain and negotiate prices\/quotations;<\/li>\n<li>Process relevant paperwork to purchase whilst ensuring delivery of requested commodities and services for various units;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timeous release of requisitions and purchase orders, by placing and expediting orders with suppliers; following up on goods receipts with operations;<\/li>\n<li>Develop new alternative sources of supply by taking part in commodity execution programs, volume pooling, evaluation of vendor performance and management of supplier relationships;<\/li>\n<li>Initiating action for the different departments within the Organisation to ensure Microsoft office housekeeping is maintained regarding requisitions, outstanding orders and goods receipting;<\/li>\n<li>Identifying potential suppliers and verifying supplier qualifications for take on as vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Utilisation and compliance of contracts and utilization of e-tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Code 08 Driver\u2019s License<\/li>\n<li>Grade 12 plus a certificate in Procurement &amp; Supply Operations (CIPS) or equivalent procurement diploma.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years\u2019 purchasing experience<\/li>\n<li>Exposure in a hospitality environment will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes, as well as inventory management.<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent must<\/li>\n<li>have analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>display negotiation skills<\/li>\n<li>have the ability to handle complaints and solve problems; and<\/li>\n<li>have exceptional communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary package<\/strong> for this post is between R9 687.00 &#8211; R10 595.00<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must apply in writing, including three contactable references and a detailed CV to: Human Resources Department Child Welfare Durban and District<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@cwdd.org.za\">\u00a0recruitment@cwdd.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing date for application:<\/strong> 15 January 2019<\/p>\n<p>If you have not heard from us within two weeks of the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Child Welfare Durban and District is an established Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to caring for Children and Youth.\u00a0 We seek to appoint a suitably qualified candidate who will be responsible for&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1350,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
