{"id":44225,"date":"2019-01-10T19:31:40","date_gmt":"2019-01-10T17:31:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=44225"},"modified":"2019-01-10T19:35:41","modified_gmt":"2019-01-10T17:35:41","slug":"inmed-south-africa-npc-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/inmed-south-africa-npc-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"INMED South Africa (NPC) Ongoing Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>INMED South Africa (NPC) is seeking a\u00a0Project Coordinator for their Primary School-based Adaptive Agriculture and Healthy Lifestyles Program\u00a0based in Graaff Reinet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Project Coordinator\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong> Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Through this program, children are learning and absorbing\u00a0educational messages about nutrition and healthy lifestyles through hands-on, skill\u00a0based activities, including establishment of aquaponics units and school gardens\u00a0that provide nutritious fresh produce to supplement school meals.<\/p>\n<p>Salary: R 6,500 per month<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee the establishment and running of INMED\u2019s school\u00a0based Aquaponics System to ensure continuous harvest\u00a0and good fish health.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Program Manager with coordination of training\u00a0workshops for educators, volunteer food handlers and\u00a0learners.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular school visits to monitor the implementation\u00a0of the program at targeted schools.<\/li>\n<li>Provide necessary support and supervision to school based\u00a0garden champions to ensure establishment of sustainable\u00a0food gardens in targeted schools.<\/li>\n<li>Provide administrative support and strengthen reporting\u00a0within the project.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with procurement and control of stock and\u00a0organization assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 qualification, a Bachelor\u2019s degree\/diploma\u00a0(M+3) in the field of agriculture\/aquaculture will be an added\u00a0advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills\u00a0as well as fluency in Afrikaans and English is desirable.<\/li>\n<li>At least one year\u2019s relevant working experience either in\u00a0school based programs or aquaculture related projects.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with little supervision and must possess good\u00a0training skills especially working with children.<\/li>\n<li>Must be available for minimal work on weekends when\u00a0necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Closing date for applications:<\/strong> 18 January 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>INMED South Africa (NPC) is seeking a\u00a0Project Coordinator for their Primary School-based Adaptive Agriculture and Healthy Lifestyles Program\u00a0based in Graaff Reinet.
