If so, we invite you to explore the possibility of joining us to play your part in Desmond Tutu HIV-Foundations\u2019 exciting future.<\/p>\n<p>We invite applicants to apply for this one-year fixed- term contract post at the Tutu Tester Mobile Clinic, Philippi, Cape Town as part of the POWER project delivering PrEP to adolescent girls and young women.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nursing Degree or Diploma Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Registered Nurse<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years nursing experience<\/li>\n<li>Experiences of working with adolescent in the health sector<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy with sound knowledge of email, word processing and internet<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well under pressure and to maintain effectiveness during changing conditions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work harmoniously with youth of diverse backgrounds<\/li>\n<li>Client focused<\/li>\n<li>Administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to work as a member of a team<\/li>\n<li>Must be detail orientated<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and work irregular hours, including weekends from time to time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least one year research experience<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of HIV including PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis)<\/li>\n<li>Training in Contraception including implant insertion<\/li>\n<li>Dispensing license<\/li>\n<li>A working knowledge of an adolescent friendly clinical environment<\/li>\n<li>Speak isiXhosa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing a client focused youth friendly sexual and reproductive health service<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Maintaining strict client confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Providing pre- and post-test counselling, as well as risk reduction counselling, for\u00a0 clients<\/li>\n<li>HIV testing<\/li>\n<li>Obtaining blood and tissue samples and processing them as required<\/li>\n<li>Conducting study procedures including ECG\u2019s, spirometry testing, etc<\/li>\n<li>Corresponding with the laboratory regarding query resolution<\/li>\n<li>Performing other client care procedures as required<\/li>\n<li>Entering data on case report forms and processing<\/li>\n<li>Performing Quality Control (QC) checks on CRFs and source documents<\/li>\n<li>Providing feedback to staff regarding common errors as part of the QC process<\/li>\n<li>Managing filing of CRFs, source documents and laboratory reports<\/li>\n<li>Values fit:\u00a0 Passion Innovation Progress Integrity Respect Excellence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, quote Job reference, submit CV, motivation letter with certified copy of highest qualification and details of three (3) current contactable referees to: Attention HR Manager<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:Jobs@hiv-research.org.za\">Jobs@hiv-research.org.za<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0by <strong>20th January 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job reference:<\/strong> #DTHF\/C001.
