This has been achieved through demonstrating extensive knowledge of educational and pedagogic processes and the ways in which different technologies can support the work of teachers, learners and managers.<br \/>\nThe Board of SchoolNet SA seeks to appoint:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Executive Director<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p>Take overall responsibility for the organisation, under the governance of the Board of Directors, and in particular to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the development of the strategic plan of SchoolNetSA at a national level<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the implementation of that plan in a financially sustainable manner<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain strategic partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Manage the assigned human resources and support their development in order to deliver on the agreed activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must hold a degree in education or equivalent (relevant postgraduate qualification is a recommendation)<\/li>\n<li>Have 5-10 years\u2019 experience in ICT education<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s licence and own car is required<\/li>\n<li>Be competent in the use of ICT and be proficient in the use of English in written and verbal communications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Local and international travel will be required.
